Windows warns you the first time. Aetherboard isn’t code-signed yet.
If your browser says the file “isn’t commonly downloaded”, open the download’s ⋯ menu and choose Keep. When you open it and see “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway.
If Smart App Control blocks it, that PC only runs signed apps. Play in your browser instead. Uninstall any time from Windows Settings.
The installer is small. It downloads the app, about 100 MB, while it installs, so stay online.

Mac, phones and tablets
There is no Mac app yet. Macs, phones and tablets can join any game in a browser, but hosting needs Windows or Linux.
Check your download
Each file's SHA-256 hash. A file tool that shows a SHA-256 hash should give the same one for the file you downloaded.
